TaxiSearcher is designed for use in the United States. By using TaxiSearcher, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Alias, account credentials, and profile information.
  • Contact information you choose to provide, such as email address or phone number.
  • Date of birth, age-confirmation information, and passenger or driver verification information.
  • State-issued photo ID, driver’s license, vehicle documents, profile images, or other documents submitted for review.
  • Trip requests, pickup and destination details, messages to drivers, and scheduled-trip details.
  • Trusted Circle selections or trip-sharing choices.
  • Ratings, feedback, comments, blocks, reports, and support requests.
  • Payment-related information required for verification fees, token purchases, or other platform features.

3. Location and Trip Information

TaxiSearcher may collect and use location-related information to provide core app features, including pickup and destination matching, distance calculations, driver availability, trip alerts, maps, route estimates, safety features, and trip history.

When a driver goes online, TaxiSearcher may collect or store location and availability information needed to match that driver with nearby trip requests. When a passenger creates or activates a trip, TaxiSearcher may store pickup, destination, trip status, timing, fare, distance, and related trip information.

Location information may be approximate or precise depending on the feature, device settings, permissions, and information entered by the user.

4. Device, App, and Technical Information

We may collect technical information needed to operate and protect TaxiSearcher, including:

  • Device platform, app version, and operating-system information.
  • Push notification tokens and notification delivery information.
  • Login/session information used to authenticate mobile app requests.
  • Crash reports, diagnostic logs, error messages, support details, and abuse-prevention signals.
  • IP address or browser/device information when using the website.

5. How We Use Information

TaxiSearcher may use information to:

  • Create, manage, secure, and authenticate accounts.
  • Provide passenger trip requests, driver matching, scheduled trips, and trip alerts.
  • Calculate distance, route, location, and trip-related information.
  • Process verification requests and help reduce fraud or abuse.
  • Provide push notifications, email messages, support responses, and service updates.
  • Maintain trip history, finance history, token records, ratings, feedback, and reports.
  • Support Trusted Circle trip sharing and related safety features when enabled by the user.
  • Investigate crashes, disputes, fraud, safety concerns, policy violations, or legal requests.
  • Improve, maintain, and secure TaxiSearcher.

6. Sharing Information With Other Users

Some information is shared with other TaxiSearcher users as part of the service. For example, passengers may share trip details with drivers, and drivers may share driver, vehicle, trip, location, or acceptance information with passengers when needed for the trip flow.

If you use Trusted Circle or similar trip-sharing features, selected trip details may be shared with the trusted user you choose.

Ratings, feedback, blocks, and reports may affect what other users can see or whether users are matched again in the future.

7. Service Providers and Third-Party Services

TaxiSearcher may use service providers to operate the website, mobile app, storage, authentication, payments, maps, push notifications, email, anti-abuse tools, and support features. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to TaxiSearcher.

Service providers may include, for example:

  • Hosting, server, backup, and storage providers.
  • Payment processors for verification fees, token purchases, or related payments.
  • Map, routing, distance, and geocoding providers.
  • Push notification providers.
  • Email delivery providers.
  • Security, anti-bot, fraud-prevention, and diagnostic providers.

TaxiSearcher does not sell personal information.

8. Age and Verification Documents

TaxiSearcher is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Passenger and driver verification may require submitting identification, documents, photos, date-of-birth information, or other information used to review age, platform eligibility, fraud prevention, trust, safety, or compliance concerns.

Passenger verification may require a valid, unexpired U.S. state-issued photo ID, driver’s license, or other accepted government-issued photo identification. Driver verification may require a valid driver’s license and additional driver or vehicle documentation.

Verification documents are used for review and platform operation. Verification does not guarantee the safety, conduct, identity, insurance status, vehicle condition, legal compliance, or future behavior of any user.

Verification documents and related account information may be reviewed by authorized TaxiSearcher personnel, administrators, contractors, or service providers only as reasonably needed for verification, fraud prevention, safety, support, legal compliance, and platform operations.

9. Payments, Tokens, and Finance Records

TaxiSearcher may keep records related to verification fees, token purchases, token credits, token deductions, trip completion, passenger expenses, driver income summaries, and similar app finance history.

Payment processors may collect and process payment information according to their own policies. TaxiSearcher does not intend to store full payment-card numbers on its own servers.

Passenger-to-driver trip payments are generally arranged directly between users unless TaxiSearcher expressly provides a specific payment feature.

10. Legal, Safety, and Compliance Uses

TaxiSearcher may preserve, review, disclose, or provide information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, court order, law enforcement request, fraud investigation, safety concern, dispute, or to protect TaxiSearcher, users, or the public.

11. Data Storage and Retention

TaxiSearcher may retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce platform rules, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, support safety, and maintain trip, finance, verification, or account history.

Some records may remain in backups, logs, archives, completed-trip history, reports, or legal records for a period of time even after an account or item is deleted from active use.

12. Security

TaxiSearcher uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to help protect information. However, no app, website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Your Choices

You may control certain information through app permissions, device settings, account settings, and in-app choices. Some features may not work properly if required permissions or information are disabled.

You may contact TaxiSearcher to request help with account access, account deletion, privacy questions, or support concerns.

14. Age Requirement and Minors

TaxiSearcher is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. Minors may not create accounts, request trips, accept trips, verify as passengers, verify as drivers, or otherwise use TaxiSearcher directly.

A minor may be a passenger only when accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult who arranged the trip through that adult’s own TaxiSearcher account. TaxiSearcher does not knowingly permit unaccompanied minors to use the platform to request or receive rides.

TaxiSearcher may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions may be posted on the website or presented in the app. Continued use of TaxiSearcher after an updated policy is made available or accepted means you agree to the updated policy.
